The Vision

I wrote my first monologue when I was in high school. It was Mary, the mother of Jesus, musing about some very odd baby presents. Through the years God has enlarged my monologues and my mission. With His help and inspiration, I have written over 100 monologues. Here is my heart: I want people to know that the people in. the Bible weren’t some plaster saints. They were people just like us, with the same hopes, hurts, and heartaches that we have. And their story is our story. God has given me a sanctified imagination where I can put myself into the skin of those biblical women and bring their stories alive.

God has enlarged my skill so that He enables me to write monologues to fit into a specific worship service or event, sometimes with only a couple of days notice. I had the joy and privilege of doing 11 monologues as Nehemiah’s sister, when Pastor DavidFilener, the pastor of my church, Canyon del Oro Assembly of God, did a twelve week series on Nehemiah It was a highlight in my life.

This is my joy and purpose. Please let me know if I can bless your congregation or event in any way.
